Deprecation of the Resource Owner Password Credential flow (ROPC)

As per current best practices, OneWelcome will deprecate the support for the Resource Owner Password Credential flow on the (former) iWelcome provided implementations as per end of June 2022. Customers are advised to switch to other flows and can contact their Architect or Customer Success Manager for additional support.

Deprecation of JWT access tokens for API access

iWelcome will end support for JWT access tokens to access publicly exposed API's by Q1 2022. Any client wanting to interact with an API endpoint will have to use a valid OAuth 2 Access Token with the correct scopes. Refer to each API reference for details on the available scopes.

Deprecation of TokenInfo endpoint

iWelcome will end support for TokenInfo endpoint by Q4 2020, thus it should not be used for new projects. It will be replaced with TokenIntrospect & UserInfo endpoints.

Deprecation of TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1

TLS v1.0 and TLS v1.1 support will end in March 2020. This change, alongside similar announcements made by major browser manufacturers (such as Mozilla, Apple, Google, and Microsoft ) will support more secure and performant connections, contributing to a much safer experience for customers.
